Central Medical College - CeMec, established to respond to global changes happening in Medical education and Technology and bring positive changes in the present deterioration health care delivery system. The ultimate goal is to make our population a healthy and productive force. A good number of brilliant and promising students fail to get chance in medical colleges due to limitation of seats in Gov't Medical Colleges. This institute will help those students to avail this opportunity.

This program will give a good profile of student in technical field by providing opportunity for the better performance in Medical Education in separate cell in each Department with good facilities for Medical graduates who can give more time in this field.

In this college the students are valued and we will assist, support and advice every student with proper counseling, guidance to solve their academic problems. All efforts are being made to attract the students to their places for learning and modern teaching methods will be extensively used by the teachers for imparting lessons.

It is our first effort. In future more efforts will be made to enrich the different wings of health sector, when the institute will be developed for this purpose.

We heartily thank the Ministry of Health & Family welfare for giving our Central Medical College Final approval to commence academic activities from the session 2004-2005. We pray to Allah, the almighty for its success.

In Bangladesh thousands of people die due to poverty, ignorance, hunger, malnutrition and lack of Medical facilities. In our Country the Doctor population ratio, is below the standard level of WHO. The development of health sector by combined effort of public and private sector is the present policy of our Government. Central Medical College will help our Governments in this regard to mitigate this problem.Our Central Medical & Hospital is a private Teaching. cum-Healthcare delivery institution. Establishment of such an institution will help to develop the existing Condition.

Central Medical College, Cumilla was established on January 2005 by the approval of Ministry of health and family welfare. The college is situated in a wide open and beautiful campus almost in the middle of the country by the side of Dhaka-Chittagong high way. The campus is near to capital city Dhaka. This is also near to Indian city Agortola about 4 km distance form shreemontopur boarder. From very beginning we strictly follow the BM&DC curriculum & guide line given by the ministry of health & family welfare, DG health & concerned university. The medical college has been running with sufficient no of qualified and devoted teachers. Central medical college hospital has been running with skill and experienced doctors. Sufficient facilities are ensured for clinical students & internee doctors. The result of professional examination in last 15 years are excellent. Most of the doctors passing from this medical college now working in different govt. & non govt. institution of the country both home & abroad with good reputation. Some young doctors after completion of the post graduation are working as teacher in different medical colleges of Bangladesh. Many foreign students are studying here. The authority of this medical college are committed to provide quality doctors for the nation and to ensure low cost quality medical service for the people. We expect all sorts of co-operation from all concerned.

Aims & Objectives

Central Medical College & Hospital (Pvt.) Ltd. has been established, so that the young students will learn Medical science to:

• 1) Acquire knowledge & skill to solve common health problems, handle emergency medicine & casualties and manage public health medicine in general Practice with emphasis on physical, psychological and environmental & moral factors involving the patient himself and his community.
• 2) Improve the system of medical education and health care delivery with the present day concept of community oriented medical education and training which will have relevance to the need of the country. It is intended to bridge the gap between the need and resource for the development of health education, maternal and child welfare and others in its health programs.
• 3) Be able to work with others in a team for community development.
• 4) Agree to pursue further training and education in order to acquire new skills and to keep abreast the new developments in medicine.

Located at Paduar Bazar Bishwa Road, comilla. Bangladesh Established in the year 2004-2005 and offering Degree of Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBBS) under the University of Chittagong.

• CURRICULUMS: Curriculum adopted by the Faculty of Medicine. University of Chittagong, Approved by the Bangladesh Medical and Dental Council (BMDC).
• CLASS: Class begins at 8.00 A.M. morning and continues up to 3.00 P.M on all working days.
